Thomas William Standen (Terry Winter) (8 de maio de 1947 - 23 de setembro de 1998) Começou a cantar ainda nos anos 60 em português. No início dos anos 70 adotou o pseudônimo de Terry Winter.

Cantor e compositor, surgiu na Jovem Guarda com o nome Tommy Standen, com canções gravadas por artistas como Nilton Cesar ("Ao Mundo Vou Contar", em 1966) e Ronnie Von ("Pequeno Príncipe", parceria com Fred Jorge, em 1967), paralelamente a seus próprios discos ("O Quente", RCA, 1966; "A Varanda", RCA, 1967). Em 1972 reinventou-se como Terry Winter, aproveitando a onda de artistas que se faziam passar por estrangeiros; fez grande sucesso interpretando composiçõs próprias como "You'll Notice Me" e "Summer Holiday" até se revelar brasileiro no programa de Sílvio Santos, anunciando inclusive que mudaria novamente o nome artístico, para Thomas Williams, mudança esta que não ocorreu. Winter/Standen deixou de fazer sucesso como intérprete, mas ainda freqüentou as paradas musicais graças a mais uma metamorfose: como Chico Valente, assinou vários sucessos de música sertaneja moderna como "Sonho De Um Caminhoneiro", "Mãe De Leite" (ambas gravadas por Milionário e José Rico), "Convite De Casamento" (gravadas por Ataíde e Alexandre), "Meu Velho Amigo" (Tonico e Tinoco) e "Rei do Gado" (tema de abertura da telenovela homônima da Rede Globo) compostas em parceria com Nil Bernardes, o mesmo Neil Bernard co-autor de "Summer Holiday" e outras. Terry Winter trabalhou também como ator em algumas ocasiões, como na telenovela A viagem, de Ivani Ribeiro, produzida e exibida pela TV Tupi entre 1975 e 1976.

Foi casado com Mirian Baraboskin, e deixou quatro filhos, Shannon Mark, Shareene, Scott Sherman e Shane Morgan.
